A Gift of a Second Language

Overview

Language Express Drop-in Childcare is now offering small group language classes for children starting at 2 years old.

Languages available: French and Spanish.

Upon request, and subject to availability, we can open classes for other languages as well (German, Chinese and Japanese).

A minimum number of 3 children per session is required.

We offer convenient on-site classes for 45 minutes each week, four times a month.

Weekly and Weekend classes are offered all year long

Our Method

We believe that the best way for a child to learn a second language is through imitation and repetition. The purpose of the program is to introduce the new language as if it were the native language. Therefore, classes are fully conducted in the target language. Learning a new language should be a fun experience. That is why we use the renowned Thibaut Technique, a fun and effective method to teach foreign languages, that engages children through language immersion original music (which reinforce grammatical patterns), visual aides (which symbolize vocabulary), tactile materials, playful and educational activities and lots and lots of fun!

All our instructors are native speakers and have a large experience in teaching children. They will guide and support the children in the learning process, making sure that they have the best experience.

Class schedule 2021 - 2022

Summer session

Starting June 23rd through August 19th

FRENCH

Thursday 6:00pm-6:45pm (5-7 and 8-12 years old)

SPANISH

Friday 6:00pm-6:45pm (5-7 and 8-12 years old)

Tuition

Registration Fee $35

Each session - $225

A 24 hour notice is required for a class cancellation (during the session) in order for a make-up class.
No-show or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged and are not subject to free make-up classes.
Language Express reserves the right to cancel a class at any given time, with a notice being sent out via email and text. A refund or make-up class would then be provided.
