During A Visit With Language Express

How It Works

While You’re Away

We provide several opportunities for your child to explore gross motor skills, fine motor skills, language development and creative expression. We include story time, active play and arts and crafts into our playtime each day. We have monthly themes that encourage creativity in a fun and exciting fashion. PLAY is the primary focus of our day. Our sample daily activity schedule provides an example of a day at Language Express

At Check-In

We require a completed registration form for each child on your first visit with us, along with an emergency contact phone number and the names of the individuals that are authorized to pick up your child. We also ask for details about any medical conditions, allergies, or issues, and dietary restrictions to ensure the safety and well-being of your child during his or her stay at Language Express. Our child care management software tracks and keeps detailed records of each child’s stay with us. We offer the option of purchasing a meal at check-in if you expect your child’s stay to last through mealtime.

Cubbies

The cubbies in our welcome area are used for safekeeping of coats, backpacks, lunch boxes or any other belongings while your child is visiting us. Please place the child's belongings in an empty storage cubby after checking in.

Play Area

Each child will be welcomed by a Language Express staff member and will be given a name tag upon entry of the play area. Socks (only) must be worn at all times while inside the play area.

Food

We provide healthy and nutritious snacks for all children. Lunch and dinner will be provided for a charge from local restaurants. If your child’s stay overlaps with mealtime, we request that you either pack food for your child or select our purchase meal option. You can request the purchase meal option at check-in. All meals and snacks are served with water.

Please note that Language Express is a peanut-free zone. As many young children are allergic to peanuts, we will not serve any type of peanut product and respectfully ask parents to please not bring any type of peanut products for your child.

At Pick-up

A positive photo ID is required in order to pick up your child. If an incident has occurred during your child's visit, an incident report write-up will be provided for your review and signature.

Invoices will be sent via the Procare Management System. All invoices should be paid on the date of service.
